Computer says 'No'

Bad news...

I've had a catastrophic hard drive failure !

I'm just camping out on my daughter's laptop for now but

I think I've lost all my photos.

Good news...

I've got a new camper van...

and it's spring!

I really miss this place... hope to be back soon.

The Heaving Pile

We must downsize the family home

And clear the clutter that we own.

It's time to find a cosy pad,

Where we can be just Mum and Dad.

And so today, I made a start,

I tried to make some pretty 'art'.

I chopped a linen cloth in two

And made a mess with residue.

My hoarding ways have got to stop

Before the Mister blows his top.

I must reduce this heaving pile,

I may be gone for quite a while.

Don't go breaking my heart

I have been making love tokens like a woman possessed

and now our Valentine's market is cancelled!

I wouldn't mind but I don't even like Valentine's day

so I'm going to stop stuffing hearts (they are addictive)

and hope that all this love will keep warm for Mother's day.

I Made a Poem

I like making stuff,

And messing with glue.

I love to stitch and sew,

I like knitting too.

Don't forget crochet

And a little rhyme.

We need another verse

and it's there when I look in your eyes...

Valentine's Day... Mother's Day...

I'm on the search for quirky love tokens... 

Our little table top shop was left quite dizzy and depleted after Christmas

so I have been enjoying a rest and slowly replenishing.

Here's this month's favourites...
(not sure I can part with Queen Buzzy Bee, I love her eyes).

I have to admit that our 'Toys Were Us' department is always

more popular than my crafty bits so I thought I'd try making some simple dolls
(with nice eyes).

and this is Bruce.

They like to watch the news together.

I have high hopes for these two.

Then there's the trolls...

I offered them a makeover and they all jumped in the bath.

Is there a collective noun for a group of trolls?
I wonder...a troop, a treasure, a trolley?

A rack?

I did try bleaching the PINK hair but it wouldn't shift.

These three offered to help at our next market...

the others are clinging to their seasonal outfits for now.

(it's those eyes again).

Talking of collective nouns...

did you know that a group of mice

is called a 'mischief'?

Stuff and Nonsense

I've been struggling to kick start 2015...

I'm hoping a cheery post of nonsense may help lift the gloom.

It's been raining cats and dogs so there's not much booty treasure to show
but at least the ducks are smiling...

and the trolls are planning a comeback!

Our next market is on Valentines day...

and with plans for the allotment...

and holiday dreaming...

I think things may be looking up.

My word for 2015 is...

DE-CLUTTER!!!
