Lazy Sunday Afternoon...

It was our last summer garden fete in Arundel yesterday
so we were very grateful that Hurricane Bertha waited until we had finished.

I can't believe this all fitted into our car.
I am now enjoying a lazy Sunday afternoon
and making...

and

but none of this.

I might do a bit of this...

and I need to finish this...

but if I crochet round the neck how do I remove the bottle?
(inspired by FOXES LANE)

but  no chance of any of this...

There's no one to hear me, there's nothing to say
And no one can stop me from feeling this way...

Lazy Sunday Afternoon,
I've got no mind to worry
Close my eyes and drift away.

(I wish I could sing)

Crafty ways make lazy days.

  4. I am amazed you fit all that in your car too E.E. Your stall looks amazing - just love it all.
You could add a couple of ribbons to the "shoulders" of your hottie cover or maybe some crochet strings & just have 2 bows to undo it & slide the hottie out. Just a thought . . . So odd to see your summery weather while we are freezing cold here & takes me all day to keep the house warm. Enjoy :-)

  5. Your hottie looks GREAT!!!
And I never ever take mine out of their covers to wash them so I stitch them in.
Occasionally I sponge them down but never wash.
I'm now wondering if that's disgusting. Oh well.
I hope you have a happy week. xx

  6. I wrote a rather charming verse
But now I feel that I could curse
I forgot to sign in before I sent
And all my meaningful words - went!
    Anyway, suffice to say
I hope you had a great Sunday! x
