Fair Play?

It's our last big event of the summer next week
and we have been working flat out...

Can you see what it is yet?

The display stand is built...

from this to this...

The class of 2013 are ready... apart from Doris in the middle.

The thunderstorms are booked and own trumpet blown...

but there is one final worry...

Have we peaked too soon?

If you're local please come and gaze inside our gazebo.
We will be dangling our bits for two days.

I'm sooooo...

disappointed that I could kwhy...

not because I didn't win the FREE Poetry Competition
but because United Press Ltd said I was the 'best of the rest'
and could be published if I send them £24 !
Shame on you Bognor Library for promoting a scam.

However...I have a cunning plan...
I am writing another poem for their next competition
just to see whether I'm voted 'the best of the gullible' !

I'm sooooo...
 excited that I could die...

The puppet celebrities have started to arrive,
the good, the bad and the ugly...

and some old school friends for Sooty's surprise birthday party.
I wonder whether Soo will show?

I'm sooooo...
prepared that I could...

organise a two day country fair without blinking.

Must rush... I need to craft and blink most urgently.

Crafty days are never long enough.

Chop Suey?

The BBC dumped them all in 1964 once Soo (correct spelling)
 was introduced...soo-spicious?

She was last spotted dunking bamboo at La Cootards so I fear
she may now be disguised in a sweet little ensemble fashioned from
an embroidered tablecloth with matching accessories to die for.

I'm planning a party for Sooty on 19th July (his official birthday).
I wonder if she will turn up legless?

A little nonsense now and then
Is cherished by the wisest men.
Roald Dahl

only fools and horses went thrifting last Sunday...

but we galloped on...

and a quick twirl on The Carousel ?

That's my Tom

Tis a tardis of treasure, will show more next time.

And finally another thrifty tip...

Need to construct a market stall in a hurry?
Try deconstructing a basic hanging rail, remove wheels,
join two poles to make one long rod, fit across the top
then clamp sides to trading table and be amazed...

A rather nifty trading frame to support all manner of merchandise!

Do you remember my fabric wrapped pot stand?

I knew it would come in handy.

Thanks for all your silly comments...Roald Dahl would be proud !

Desperately Seeking Sue

or just casually looking in case she turns up.

She's not over there.

That's not her.

She won't be up here.

Definitely not up here

Have you guys see Sue?

You smelt her yesterday?

Let her find us.

Thrifty Tip Alert...
Book a very last minute break
for a quarter of the brochure price
and call it 'Fate'.

Is that her waving from the top?

We sailed across the sea
to a land of silly names.

Fate was good to us but we didn't find Sue.
