All you need is love...

I love a pin cushion.

I bought these two on the same day and didn't realise
  they were old mates.

I love a duck...and I love a map...

I love the stars...

and I'm loving The Great British Bake Off
but I can't cook

so I sew cakes and biscuits instead.

Does my bun look big in this?

I love vintage toys

but I don't like traffic.

 I love Mickey

and I love making folk smile.

Crafty ways makes it easy.

Love is all you need.

Knit Wit

Sorry unable to credit this, it was on my daughter's wardrobe.
Do you sometimes feel that no matter
how hard you try to cast on you still can't make anything new?

I was determined to put my Junior Scrabble boards to good use
but it's all been done before...

I thought 'outside the box'
and we needed some display boxes so
my scrabble board mountain became... boxes!

I admit they are not wildly exciting but jolly useful and very strong.

Thank you for all your suggestions, I liked Julie's idea from KC's Court!
(a memo board) so please send me your details (sme2013@live.com)
and I will send you a bag of silly!

I had the PVA out so I finished upcycling the Kittens and Puppies...
no perfect books were harmed.

I know it's a bit early for these so look away now...

and these...(Easter?)

They are pretty but not very original.

How
about
a
  Greeting Mat?

A detachable beer mat card featuring your favourite tipple!

Here's mine...

or perhaps for your favourite man...

I might give these a trial run next month
and maybe some crocheted 'rugs for mugs'.

What do you think?

I've never seen a Greeting Mat.

Do crafty ways make Greeting Mats
or am I unraveling?

What's new pussycat?

I really wanted to play

but I'm told the 'Tri-ang Stores' I have been working on is rather valuable
and deserves better than the plastic 'stock' I'd made.

I didn't want to disappoint my young customers...

so I made a child friendly version.

I have tested it thoroughly...

and it works...

s

but I'm not opening on a Sunday.

My larder is now full of naked tins
so will it be peaches or pilchards for pudding?

As you can see, my new book is keeping me amused...

no, this one...

and giving me food for thought.

My next project?

I wonder, can you guess what I'm going to make with these?

Nearest or most original guess wins a silly prize.

Thanks for reading and bigger thanks for leaving a comment.

Crafty ways make puzzling days.

My Guilty Pleasure

I have a guilty pleasure
I feel it's time to share
I love to trawl for treasure
That looks the worse for wear.

I rescue, mend and clean up
With a sense of duty
All dumped and unloved souls
At my local booty.

Don't bother me with riches
I much prefer the tat
I'll save the world from landfill
Without a charge for vat!

I had to say 'good bye' to Sooty and Sweep yesterday...

but they did have a grand day out before they went

and I soon made some new friends this morning.

Who could resist that smile?

It says 'pat pending' on her back so I'm going to call her Pat.

I love you, Pat.

Crafty ways make fun and games.
