Nasty, scary stuff.

I lock my door

To blood and gore.

I'm not playing rough.

I'll risk the treat of chocolate,

That trick I can do.

I blank the ghouls

and spooky fools.

I'm not playing BOO!

Don't call me old and grumpy,

When you ring my bell.

I have a cat,

 And a pointy hat.

I might cast a spell!

You've got a friend...

Tree Fellas update...

May I introduce Chilly Fella, Tree Fella and Santa Fella.

No ladies or babies yet, thought they should play the field first.

That's them playing in the field.

They also like hanging around on Doll's wardrobe.

Dolls were not impressed.

I did promise them some new clothes for their wardrobe but I have been so busy.

We are off to market on Saturday.

I will keep my eyes peeled for any signs of Christmas creep

or panic buying...

I will be grateful for the extra hour in bed on Sunday

as I expect I shall be feeling a bit like this...

but don't worry I'll be fine,

I have packed plenty of smarties.

Oh, I get by...

...with a little help from my friends.

I made a new friend today.

He's called Tree Fella.

Do you like him?

He evolved from my happy pointy things.

He seems happy enough... just a bit lonely.

I'm going to make him some friends and a Lady Tree Fella.

If they take root I might make a Baby Tree Fella.

I might even branch out and make a whole Tree Fella Wood one day.

Would you like to meet my other new friend?

 He's called Snow Fella.

Do you like him?

He evolved from my happy round things.

He seems happy enough... just a bit lonely.

I'm going to make him some friends and a Lady Snow Fella.

If they drift together I might make a Baby Snow Fella.

I might even chill out and make a whole Snow Fella Storm one day

but first I must study for my Festive Felty Folk Fella-ship

from this creeping Fella.

I'm all out of love...

so lost without you.

I'm feeling a bit like this today.

You were so helpful with your fresh eyes

can I just run these up the flag pole

to see how they fly?

If you could pop on your alternative festive thinking cap

that would be helpful.

It's always good to have a second opinion.

It's always good to wear a polka dot bow tie as well.

A 'thinking cap' would be handy,

I think I might make one.

I need help.

I thought my happy round things looked like ring doughnuts

and I prefer jam doughnuts so I gave them some jam,

metaphorically speaking, of course.

I gave them a dangley thing each but now I'm not sure.

Have I over done it? 

Do they look better dangle-less?

Sometimes I just feel like I'm going round in circles.

Everyday it's a getting closer...

going faster than a roller coaster.

Between tea breaks I have been...

 making round things.

I like round things.

They always look so complete, never ending or beginning.

These round things have a purpose but I don't want to say.

I don't want to be blamed for accelerating the 'snowball effect' in October.

(fully dressed pine tree spotted in Portsmouth Hilton last Monday!)

I shall just call them Happy Round Things for now.

I have also been making dangley things.

I like dangley things.

They always look cheery and hang loose.

These dangley things have a purpose but I don't want to say.

I shall just call them Happy Dangley Things for now.

I might make some pointy things soon, like these...

These two have been asking me when they can come out to play.

I said "not yet"...

but they kept nagging...

so I had to organise a Yule Meeting to discuss timing.

I mentioned my 'Kitsch Corner of Sadness' to a bloggy chum recently.

 Would you like to see?

It might raise a smile on a wet Sunday.

 

It's like a special care unit.

We rest all our sad, unloved orphans here with a few

cheerful souls to lift their spirits.

Once they are strong enough, we try to set them free

on the Table of Hope here...

Guaranteed to warm the cockles of your heart

and excite your pantaloons.
